Dr. Whitney Taylor is a pediatrician who joined Parsi Pediatrics in 2022. She earned her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, where she majored in industrial and labor relations. Before pursuing medicine, she worked for the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland and the United States Attorney’s Office within the Public Corruption Unit in Boston, Massachusetts. Finding the more individual work with families most fulfilling, she changed careers to pursue primary care pediatrics.

She attended medical school at the University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth and completed her pediatric residency training at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Taylor uses this training in her patient-centered approach to preventative medicine by partnering with families to help them achieve optimum long-term health. Some of her professional interests are disordered eating, mental health, and newborn education.

Dr. Taylor grew up in Rochester, New York, where she had an active childhood; she loves spending time with her family and friends boating, skiing, and practicing yoga. She now lives in Alamo Heights with her husband and daughter. Her daughter has worked hard since her arrival in early 2022 to broaden Dr. Taylor’s pediatric knowledge. Just like with her daughter, she looks forward to continuing to learn from and share lessons with her patients at Parsi Pediatrics.
